Vegan Must-Haves

So far living a vegan lifestyle hasn’t been as difficult as I would have expected thanks to all the meat substitutes, egg replaces, butter impostors, and delicious vegan recipes. Here are a list of some of my key vegan must-haves:

  • Earth Balance Buttery Spread
  • Soy/Almond Milk
  • Agave Nector
  • Green Lemonade Juicing Supplies*
  • Artichokes
  • Quinoa
  • Brown Rice
  • Tofu
  • Tempeh (love)
  • Garbonzo and other beans
  • Nutritional Yeast (Cheese Flavor)
  • Whole Grain Pasta
  • Hummus
  • Stocked Fresh Veggies (Snap Peas, Carrots, Celery, Bell Peppers, etc)

These are just a few things that have become a staple for me. I will share other great finds to come.

*Green Lemonade is a great source of Calcium and Iron and my favorite morning juice
1 head romaine lettuce
5 to 6 stalks of kale
2 sweet apples (I usually use Fuji or Pink Lady)
1 whole lemon (No need to peel)
1 to 2 tablespoons fresh ginger root (optional)
